Hello. Can someone take a moment and measure a Lunar Lander bezel? Considering that the cabinet is the same, is it the same as an Asteroids bezel dimensions? Just curious before I buy glass for it.

I can once i get home from work, i am off at 5:30pm it's 11:08 am where i am now. Let me know if you get it before that.

Thanks! I just want to double check if it's different. Also, is there any art on it?

Juan

No problem, there isn't any art work on it that i can remember, just smoked glass. I"ll double check it but pretty sure it's just tinted glass.

A couple weeks ago, my plexi bezel dropped and a big corner snapped off. I brought it to my glass shop and they said with the cost of petroleum based products going through the roof, they could duplicate it in glass in the same color for less. The glass piece kicks ass.

I do agree it would be awesome.

However on my asteroids cab my plexi gets stuck when removing it, so I have to flex it a bit to remove it. I figured it was like that to hold it in better.

Anyone else have that same issue?

So if it was glass it may have to be smaller than the sizes shown above

Chris, did you get it made the same or smaller?

So is the Lunar Lander Bezel the same type shade of smoke as say for instance a Space Duel or Tempest? I'd like to go to a glass shop and get a piece, but I don't know what shade to tell them.

Good question !

I'd like to know too, although I will definitely not go with a bronze colored one even if that was the original. I like mine to be without any color.

I would prefer glass because it is so much more resistant to scratches.

In a perfect world I would love to have tinted glass that is non-glare. For some reason that is a combination that is almost impossible to find. I really don't like the reflections in bezels...

Im taking a piece of Tempest glass to my glass guy in a few days and Ill find out.

I plan to start having a replacement glass category on my site.
My glass guy is right across the street from my shop,
and has great prices for me since I buy in bulk.

So I will have/stock tinted glass, Tempest, Star Wars, Crystal CAstles, etc.
as well as replacement glass for things like System1s, ROTJ, etc.

Please let me know if you find out anything as to the shade of smoke for a Lunar Lander. I'll be looking to pick up one here fairly soon. Not to mention the cardboard bezel. I hope I don't have to build another one of those out of poster board. That project was kind of a a PITA on my missile command.

I just can't justify spending $40 on a cardboard bezel. They do look nice though and Joey's done a fine job.

Make that $80.00 and then we'd be on the same plain. I wanted a Star Wars cardboard bezel as well. But I just can't spend that kind of money on cardboard mate.
