Atari Logo stick rebuild help

I just rebuilt a couple logo sticks and was wondering what people are using to replace the rubber ring on the actuator? One of mine was missing and the other was all gummy.
I am thinking about using a vaccum cleaner belt since I have one thats the right thickness and width but it will have to be cut to the right length and glued on. Any better options out there?

Good call, thats probably what they used when they made these.

Use a Gottlieb flipper rubber. Gottlieb's arn't quite as wide as the pinball "standard".....and fit perfect.
