I was looking at reproducing the Atari Logo Joystick but wanted to see how popular it would be.
I recently bought an Atari Assault Cabinet, The joystick needs to be rebuilt and when i took one apart i also found that one of the joystick shaft was bent. This started my search for parts but i have found very few parts to be available.
Thus my question, would reproducing parts for these joystick be needed by the community?
I have priced out a few parts already, to give an idea of the costs involved.
Upper Housing Assy. (Professionally 3D printed (Nylon)) = $124.25
Lower Housing (Professionally 3D printed (Nylon)) = $52.50
4-Position Plate (Professionally 3D printed (Nylon)) = $26.25
Joystick Shaft (Custom Machined) = $96.25
Let me know if there is any interest in producing parts or full assemblies to have working units in our Arcade cabinets. My guess for a full working assembly would be in the $400-$600 range
Thanks
Jason
