what do you call this atari joystick with the logo on top of black knob? this is very loose...what usually goes out of these? is there something missing between the pivot ball(which i think is ok) and the smaller one on end? pivot ball looks like what i bought for my 720 joy and i was thinking this was the "hall effect" joystick but i guess it would have switches would it....

ive never took one of these apart so i don't know what im looking for here. is there rebuilt kits cause i would love to stay with the logo joy?

any help would be appreciated!

I'd love a question answered too regarding these joysticks. Are they supposed to be dull or glossy? I have a Gauntlet cab and 3 are dull and 1 id glossy.

Ram Controls sells replacement pivot balls and plungers for these joysticks.

As far as I know everyone simply calls them Atari Logo Sticks. Ram controls has a KLOV special on these parts so you should mention it when ordering.
The ball is held in with a very small roll pin.

ok, i think i see the pin...do you just use a punch to get the things out?
