Atari Liberator on Ebay. (not mine)

Not worth anywhere near $750. The game is decently entertaining...I play it from time to time on my AS board. I like the cab... it's very Asteroids Deluxeesque.... the marquee area is quite unique as well.

Aaron if you are looking for one, i may know someone who has one of these. I hear it's in pretty nice condition.

It's mine. I am making an effort to sell it.

I like it but not enough to keep it. Personally I think its worth the dough. Especially to a collector.

Heck around this neck of the woods to find a nice 80's machine is nearly impossible and to find one working is truly rare.

While it may not be a dragon's lair or a starwars... its a great deal less common and the art work on the cabinet screams early 80's. I personally think this machine should be on Disney's Space ship Earth ride next to the garage.

750 seems pretty fair to me, but Ebay will determine the value.

Liberator

I think it is a fun game to play. I like it better than Missile command. There is more going on. Yours looks pretty nice. I am watching the auction. I have never paid attention to the value of these because they do not sell very often. I am very curious to see what it goes for.

In this case ebay may NOT determine the value. If you started at $0.01 with no reserve, then ebay would determine the value. But if you get no bids at $750, all ebay told you was that $750 was too high.

Had plenty of Ebay interest many people saying they were going to bid. It ended up being sold outside of ebay to a local collector for 750. In my opinion I sold it very fair. A starwars brings a 1000, why shouldn't liberator. In all fairness I did throw in another working board.

I'd say it was a good deal for everyone. I believe that the game should be worth at least as much as a Stand up Starwars. The artwork alone is worth having the machine.

I was not debating the value of the game at all, just your statement that ebay would determine the value. I still stand by my statement that ebay would not determine value in this case and I was proved correct when it didn't sell on ebay.

I think it is worth every penny of $750 in the condition it appeared to be in. Especially with an extra working board.

I'm sure my opinion surprises no one, though....

glad to hear it went to a good home. Liberator is one of the most under rated games..

If someone is looking for one in CA, I might know where one is for sale..

Liberator.

I have a very, very nice Liberator. I love the game. It is brutaly challenging. I think I am going to throw it on Ebay for $1000 BIN or best offer just to see what happens. I will post a link here.

Did you change your mind?

I just have not got to it yet. Probably the first of the week. I have a few others I need to list.
