I'm thinking that I want one of these. It would be my first b&w game.

Any particular issues that stick out with these? I know it's not the most in depth game but is it still fun?

Loved it when I was little. Does it hold up in a home environment?

Lastly, anyone have any leads on one?

Some pictures for you. There is some splintering of the wood from peoples shoes, going to where the gas peddle is.

Great game from the bronze era. My pop had one on location for over 10 years bitd & never had a service call on it !!!

I have one in my collection, have had it for years. It was a project when I got it and took me about 2.5 years to gather parts and get it back together. I love it and it helps that I have a collection of real VW's in the garage too.

It's a fun driver and makes a good sobriety game. ;^)

Man, if you're a VW fresk, that would be an awesome garage companion!

I've had mine for years - but never gotten it working. Saw it at auction and was immediately transported back to the 70s - I think the big start and track buttons were the first memory trigger - I'd completely forgotten about it up to that point, but then remembered playing it quite a bit.

I brought it home and tried the easy fix stuff without success, then have not given it the time to give it a real troubleshooting. I do remember that the edge connector seemed to have been replaced, and I think I should verify the wiring.

It is in very solid shape, and I think the artwork is even in good shape.

Thanks for the inspiration to try to get it out and get it running!
