I have an Atari I, Robot board that keeps resetting and has the "you've hit a black hole" error. I remember years back others with this issue, but since google doesn't seem to search back to past posts, I'd thought I'd ask here. I can enter the test mode, but the are no errors. Any ideas where to begin?

Thanks,
Brian

It's still there ;) You just have to do the advanced search, and make sure you set option "Message Dates" to "Return messages posted: anytime"

When I had that problem it was just down to bad EPROM. I've had boards with the bad 4164's but I don't recall if that could cause an error other than very corrupt vectors. By default I would socket all the 4164 DRAM's on the ones I've had through my hands.
Checking the +5v on the actual board would be a good idea too.
