Besides testing it on a different monitor than a 4600 to see if I can sync it, @64B1T brought up how its weird that it doesn't show the full attract mode. And that Mame also doesn't show the full attract..

The board still has one of the SEEQ eproms I want to replace and the little switchers I'm using for test powering the boards don't like how much power this boardset pulls. I may need to check how many amps it's actually pulling.

The other variable is that I don't have a joystick hooked up and may it being out of limits or whatever the message is may be making the attract screen cycle through screens.
It's definitely the joystick.

Tested it out on my machine. If the machine thinks the joystick is not centered with reference to the calibrated value, it will shortcut attract to show the high score table as often as possible. This is probably expected behavior when you don't have a Joystick plugged in.
 
Was it the speed of the proms or just bad sockets/contact?

Two SEEQ EPROMs were bad, burning new ones fixed the ROM Error.

New Sockets on the CPU board fixed the 'BAD RAM MA' error.

Two proms on the CPU board were bad, one had broken legs. 3 replacement proms fixed the black hole Math Box issue.

The Video board ram was flaky and removing and replacing all with new 4164s fixed the lines in graphics.

The video board pulled 3.7A. I'm assuming the CPU board pulled something similar. They are very power hungry.

When I was setting up my bench controller - the analog stick when it was set up for 0-5v was way too sensitive and went way out of range... I added voltage dividers to it so that I could get the calibration screen to keep the throw 'inside the box'. Before that I would get power up errors related to the stick about centering, etc..
My guess is the actual voltage range is 1.5-3.5v.

I tried the board on a G07 and it almost locks but still scrolls.

I'll probably use a nice k7000 for my game.
