Everything else seems fine, attract mode and music are good, just wont coin up and start. I know it is a pcb issue, just not sure what chip it could be, and i dont have a schematic.

Follow the signals from the edge connector back to the chips... If the signals aren't making it to the chips then check components and traces between them. If they are, replace that chip.

Do the ball feed motors spin every now and then in attract mode ? They are supposed
to load a ball every once in awhile. If not, you have a bad chip on the board. I don't
have the schematic but there's a chip marked UDN2595A (I think, doing this off
dusty memory). This runs the ball motors, start lamps and coin inputs. If the game is
left with credits too long the start lamps overload the chip and burn it out. Remove
the lamps or replace them with LEDs.

Unfortunately it doesnt seem like the udn 2595a is the problem, i got w new chips, and get the same thing. Any other ideas? Thanks again for the help!

Not really. I used to have a hard copy of the Quicksilver CPU schematic a long
time ago but I have no idea what happened to it. The boards are relatively
easy to figure out.

I might still have a semi-complete machine in the warehouse, I'll try to remember
Monday to see if it's got a board in it that I can look at.

Thank you very much john! One of the boards works great on the left side, and im kind of figuring that each side should be almost its own circuit, so i started looking at all the 'twin' ic's on tthe board. I ordered a few of them to swap out and kind of shotgun it. Again, i REALLY appreciate your help, theres not too many people familiar with this one. I have a guy wanting to buy it, and he has been patiently waiting for about 2 weeks now, so hopefully i can get it going. You sound like youve been messing with these for a while!
