Found or No Longer Wanted ATARI Hercules pinball - complete, project, not working - let me know what you have!

What's the deal with Captain's?? Never heard of them personally.
There are multiple long threads here and on Pinside documenting the shady shit with them selling off the Banning Museum of Pinball collection. As for their normal auctions, it's a case of stuff being sold as-is where-is. You don't know what you're getting unless you look at it in person. Fees + taxes puts it at around 25% on top of hammer price

Even here there are threads on their shady shit.

if your able to check out the item before hand which I have always been able to its not so bad, yes there is a bunch of crap that goes on, but I have also gotten some good deals, just depends on the item and depends on the day. I've seen stuff go way over and surprisingly way under. If you can check out the item great, if not they do put it on video so you can watch some one play it a little bit and you can even ask questions kind of. But ya if your going blind or close to blind just know that some stuff might not be as good as you hope.

It alllllllll depends on the weekend. Met a guy there one time that bought an After Burner Deluxe with the motion and everything for 300, kept neglecting to pick it up, decided he'd just sell it at the next auction and it went for like 3600.

Every auction is like this though, doesn't matter if it's Captain's or Jaybird or ones that don't normally deal in games. You only get so much info from pics and vid. Too many people seem upset when they don't get what they expected despite not having the info they'd need in order to set the expectations they had. Auction's always a gamble.

I have seen dudes pull cables and things so that when their lot came around it suddenly "didn't work", but staff is relatively good at chasing dudes off that are getting a little too into the machines in the AM.

Some of the pins went sooo high but some where wayyyy under pinside even with taxes and fees, as usual I was quite surprised.

Just thought I would give this a nudge in the event someone has one or sees one around.

My original post (edited with latest information):
