Atari Gravitar problems- Loud "click" sound + monitor problems
Just got my Gravitar shipped in from VA, and I am having a few problems that I need to troubleshoot... First and foremost, when you power the game on there is a loud "Click" or "pop" sound.. and the same sound is heard when you start a game, and at the end of the game when it goes from Gameplay to Attract mode. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what this could be?
I am also experiencing waviness in the monitor, this was before I replaced "big blue", which did help a little, but it's still basically doing the same thing, just not quite as bad.. I figured I'd post his up to see if anyone may have an idea besides "just cap the monitor and put an LV2000 in it".. Any help would be appreciated!
Here's the problem:
Here's what it looks like after replacing "Big blue", a nice improvement, but not the complete solution:
And the loud click you hear is when I push the player one or two button, and the same loud click is heard when the game ends and goes back into attract mode:
