So, I decided to pre-order one of these. Seems a good update to my old Atario Flashback Portable from 2017.

I like several updates with the new Atari GameStation Go, including,

- larger screen
- still has microSD slot to add other games from other manufacturers
- wifi, rechargeable battery, and HDMI (1080p 60Hz)
- extensive controller options including spinner, trakball, shoulder buttons, credit button, and number pad

Manufacturers,
  • 2600 - .a26
  • 5200 - .a52
  • 7800 - .a78
  • Lynx - .lnx
  • Arcade - .zip
  • Intellivision
  • ColecoVision - presently not working
  • Sega
  • Nintendo - gameboy (gb, adv, color), snes ...
  • Sony PS
  • Homebrews
I believe the specialized controller options and Atari-community support make this a good portable option compared to other "cheaper" options.
As with any new product, not all games (add-ons via microSD) are working yet.

Anyone else order one of these? :)
RELEASE DATE: Oct 24, 2025 or Nov 7, 2025 ??
(As of today, in Canada, ebgames is cheaper than Amazon).

Got a call to pickup today instead of on the 24th release date. So far, the 200+ pre-installed games seem pretty good - at least the ones I've tried.
Spinner and trakball work well too.

Now I'm loading a microSD with everything else that's missing. :)

For Atari 2600 games, I have to rename all my ROMs from .bin to .a26. Seems the "ren" command-prompt command is the key for this.
