Just picked up an Atari Football game for a nice low price. I'm busy cleaning it up. Looks like the bearings and rollers can still be salvaged. The machine powers up fine and plays, but there is an issue. (isn't there always!) When I turn the game on there are two lines of "garbage" on the playing field. They run from endzone to endzone. All of the X's and O's are down at the bottom of the screen near one of the endzones. I can set both offensive and defensive plays, but when the play starts the X's and O's just move a little along the edge of the field but never move off the far edge. Here's a picture to show you what I'm talking about.

I did a self test and it does say ROM ok and RAM ok.

Power Supply ??

Could be PS to the PCB. Mine came with a free big blue had to try both to find the good one. A good troubleshooting point is to hook its composite output to another source to verify it is the gameboard. and recheck all your voltages. Haven't needed to recap my pcb yet so not sure if that would be an issue. Good luck on that looks like your glass and cardboard stadium are mint.

I'll check the power supply and see what it's putting out. The game was dirty, but after a good cleaning, it is in very nice shape. Not really going to need much restoration at all. Not a bad deal for $125
