Major Havok, I, Robot & FireFox for comparison.

Note the button/pot box below the CP and above the kickpanel speaker on Galiga and FireFox.

if any of these photos are incorrect lemme know.

Could have been worse...they could have converted a dedicated Zaxxon to Galaga.

First off, why? Secondly.....is it worth saving? And what's with the misspelled Galaga in the post? So much wrong with this.....I'm out of here! 🙄🤪

That thing has been relisted a number of times. If someone is looking to take on such a project, I'm sure they could talk the owner down from the asking price.

I thought the same when it was first posted, but the parts needed would make the project a nightmare for a novice like myself.

Sourcing the control panel and joystick alone would be a nightmare and prohibitively expensive.

That's the least of your problems... look up PCB pricing.

If I had space, I'd make it into a ROTJ

Holy crap,

I was just looking through I, Robot related threads trying to do research on the machine and tech issues people have encountered and found this.
I can't believe the dude I bought this machine from had been trying to sell it since 2019.
It looks better in these photos than it was when I got it!

I thought this looked familiar.

I was beginning to think that putting Galagas into this cabinet was a thing, then I looked at the date and the fact that the craigslist link didn't work. DOH'

That poor fire fox cabinet, back in the 90's I had one and the player was shot and the boards had issues no one back then wanted to work on it so I converted it to a star wars, bought an XY monitor for 175.00 put it in there with the star wars harness and game board, kept it for a few months and traded it in for an upright crystal castles, wish I had pictures of it, I did have fire fox sitdown

I've said it before on this site, but I love my Firefox. It's one of my favorite games, and I'm so glad it's fully running on original hardware. However, I would definitely give it up for a Firefox Sitdown. Best looking sitdown IMO. I would love to even see one in person.
