Not really for Star Wars AFAIK. These barely fit inside those vaulted coin doors, they're for anything with a shelf with a cutout. Paperboy, Pac-Mania/Dragon Spirit/Galaga 88, Toobin, System 1, others.

Well, i just checked my cockpit and it appears that it was made for at least those, not sure about the upright. I have 2 but kept 1 because it fit, glad i checked before listing both...lol Thanks for mentioning it though, i don't want a SW upright owner buying unless it's confirmed they fit, i just assumed it was the same as a cockpit.

I can't confirm on the cockpit myself.

For the record this CAN be used for pretty much any Atari game with an over/under coin door, but you have to sort of tilt the box around while you close the door. I had one of this type in my Star Wars upright for a long time (it just annoyed me when it would get caught up so I swapped it out).

Yeah, I recently got one of these with some other Atari parts as well, and was wondering about this.

The one I got actually came with one of those vault boxes (which I actually plan to post soon), like the ones found on Space Duels, etc. However my HUO SD has a metal box, not one of these plastic ones.

The vault I got with it actually has an older Atari sticker on it, with the Borregas Ave address (which I've never seen on a vector, or other 80's cab), and I was wondering if it maybe came from some older b/w cab.

So I think the jury is still out on exactly which games used these vs the metal ones, but just FWIW.

Also, I can confirm this type will fit in my Space Duel, as it's the same overall length. (And I also tried it, to make sure.)

If in doubt, check the part number. (shown as part of SW UR assembly)

Well, that looks like it, but it's odd that kspiff had trouble with his. Perhaps it's a revision issue? This one is rev "b". Anyhow, thanks for all the info gents.

FWIW, I checked all of my vectors with over-under doors and they all have metal buckets.

My Assault, FireFox and ROTJ have this molded bucket. (YMMV)

I took the molded bucket and put it in my SW UR. Fit with lots of room to spare. The metal bucket has a much tighter fit.

I would assume the molded buckets are in newer games as a cost reduction. I'm sure the plastic ones are less money than the metal. (YMMV 2)
Or the over-under assemblies were redesigned?

I stand corrected. Actually with that in mind I should probably buy this myself, but I should verify first. I don't need spare coin buckets.

Might just be a dead mouse in the back of the vault, lol.

Or maybe the track on the bottom is bent(?)

Ha, could've been i suppose. I just checked the box and it is indeed stamped 038091-01 REV-B, so it's a match for SW upright. This is actually from a rotted Gauntlet cab i picked up that was beyond repair.

My Star Wars upright came with a metal bucket, not plastic as shown. That said, I've seen the pictured plastic buckets, but I don't recall in which games.
