Wrapping up my Centipede cocktail restoration and I've discovered that the thumb cam locks I bought to replace the keyed cam locks aren't going to work.

Basically I want to use one of these

But there doesn't appear to be away to attach it to these hooks that hold the top down. The thumb-cam has a rectangular tab that fits into the slot on the latch. The cocktail hook is square. :/

Does anyone know a workaround or alternative?

Thanks!

I'd even be happy with regular locking cam locks but I cant find those either. :(

Nobody has replaced these?

those hooks should mount to a normal lock with the same size square drive... you have to remove that rounded one already on there, but I can't be sure that "thumb" lock is like a normal lock with the screw or nut on top of the square post for the hook

this one has a screw:

All the ones I found are just threaded shafts with on side flattened held on by a nylon nut. Its about 50% too small to fit on the square hole of the hook.

Maybe I just havent found the right cam lock yet; ill keep looking.. Thanks gwarble.
