Atari Cocktail Cabinet Latch - How to Make One

Do you have a price point for them?

Depending on the cost, I would be in for up to 6 sets.....
Believe it or not the stainless is cheaper than say mild steel. I am looking at about $4 or $5 each plus shipping. Could be a little bit less if I order a ton of them.

What locks are you guys using for these? The square hole in the latch seems to be larger than most coin/back door locks I've seen from the normal arcade parts retailers.

The original had a 8mmx8mm hole. I also made one for 9mmx9mm because all of the locks I use are that size.

I'll have to measure mine but the aftermarket locks I've seen were smaller than the oem latches on my two Atari cocktails (centipede, asteroids deluxe)

If you could make them for the smaller hold (currently available locks) that would make it even better (for my applications). I could always file them out if need be.

I just measured the square post at the end of the locks that I purchase from Twistedquarter and it is 9mm comfortable.

8mm might be too tight.

Ok, found my drawing for the measurement. Appears to be 47.77mm lengthwise to the outmost bendpoint. And the square hole was 9mm. (8.88mm) 20.58mm wide.

The 3 measurements at far right are the metal thickness.

Alright, so I can make them in both 8mm and 9mm. I'll do a run of both. I'll make an interest check in a bit so I can gauge on how many I should make. I want to do a sendcutsend order this week.
