Atari Breakout "Consolette"

Being sold in US dollars but game is local pickup only (in France)...?..

And could that guy of used a bigger font in his description

76 doesn't sound right. That's a Super break out (has the 3-way for double, cavity, and progressive) and that wasn't released until 78.

That is the coolest thing I have seen all day. Seriously, I really like that cabinet design!

I would love to have something like that, but definitely not for $600!

Notice the one in the ebay auction says 'consolette' at the bottom, without the Atari logo, like the blue one in the flyer. The red one in the flyer doesn't say consolette, but has the atari logo.

So the two flyers (consollette, and consolette 2000) show machines that are different from each other and different from the one in the auction....

My guess is that Atari didn't develop those cabs themselves but just took over the design/company.
They did that with french jukebox manufacturer Electro-Kicker (owned it from 1974-1975), so there are even jukeboxes with the fuji logo on it, like this one (not mine):

I love how they depicted the consollette as a woman in the ad.. nice placement for the spinners. Also, since they depicted it as a woman, its no wonder they didnt put a coin slot in the front center... :)

From what I can see Consollette is BREAKOUT and Consolette 2000 is SUPER BREAKOUT. If you notice the 2000 model has the game selector knob where as the non-2000 model doesn't. The game in the ebay auction is the Consolette 2000. My guess is someone got the flyer year wrong. I bet the Consolette came out in 1976 when Breakout came out and the Consolette 2000 came out in 1978 when Super Breakout came out.

I think the flyers advertise them as generic cabs, no game is mentioned anywhere in the text. The french speaking consolette "lady" says that she can change her game when the installed one comes out of fashion and the blue flyer states "Most of the video games can fit to the consolette".
That would mean most of the ball&paddle games, I think, unless you can change the CP.
