Atari Audio II board reproduction, A043661

I am definitely down for two of these boards as I have a couple of these games. Are you needing a sample? Mine went out a couple of days ago as I was adjusting the volume and I noticed that the Coin light bulb was varying in brightness. Then bulb went bright and no sound. Bulb is not varying but staying super bright.

Big Thanks to Reddogg

He will be sending me a spare board of his for me to be able to map this PCB in short order.

Thanks for all the offers, i have truly been surprise by the interest in this board.

I have ordered the necessary components for the initial build of 25 boards, i will attempt to get this turned around as fast as possible. i will post pictures of prototype boards once they are available.

Thank you
Jason

The board is on the way.

Thanks to Jason for taking on this project!

So I have yet another update on the status of this board. I received the board from Reddogg today and was able to finish up the design of the board this evening. Not sure it speaks highly of my life when i look forward to tracing out a PCB after a day at work...

At any rate the attachment is the finished board, now to just rest a day or two and come back with fresh eye and verify everything.

Thanks,
Jason

Greetings All

Update on the status of these boards, i have received the PCBs from the manufacturer and will be soldering up boards for testing. If everything goes well i should be able to start fulling board requests later next week, really depends on if testing goes well. Keep your fingers crossed.

I will post some more eye candy once i have boards soldered up this evening.

Thanks
Jason

Eye candy of the first completed board, with a side by side comparison new and original.

Thanks,

Update:

Got the boards today, and after a bit of a glitch with my monitor (didn't want to wake up and play nice after sleeping for for 6 weeks) I'm happy to say that they were plug and play right out of the box. I heard that beautiful Atari tone, switch (to game settings) works great, volume is awesome, nice and loud if you want it to be, so far zero issues whatsoever.

That being said, I have some friends cruising for the UFC fights tonight, so I will be testing both of the boards I got for hours each. Hopefully all continues to go perfectly.

Will update tomorrow with testing results.

Cheers to Jason for taking on the project!
