ATARI audio 2 PCB- 043662-01 rev B - anyone ever have problems with these?
im beginning to think that the problem im having with my 720 is the audio 2 board.
it looks 100 percent perfect to the eye, but i think it might be causing the game to be dead. no picture, no sound.
i have tried the same audio board with 2 sets of boards, double and triple checked all voltages coming off the +5 supply, and the transformer (18, 12, 12) and completely checked the harness for continuity and pulled and reinstalled all end connectors making sure the leads were tight...still nothing.
what is the best way to test the audio board? all the big blue caps look fine, but how do i measure? they do all grow when i connect the resistance to them on my DMM...
anything i should do when this is plugged in to check?
any known problems with these such as a bad resistor to check first?
any and all help is greatly appreciated.
