I am looking to do some bench testing or Asteroids boards with a transformer assembly and an ARII board I rebuilt. I made a wire harness to hook up all the DC voltages and ground but I had a question about the vector generation section and the 36vac inputs. Can I use the ARII to power the 36vac for that section? If so, how would I go about hooking that up?

Sorry in advance for the dumb question. I'm just trying to avoid causing irreparable damage to these things from a dumb wiring mistake.

The 36V comes directly from the brick, not the AR.

For Asteroids, it goes directly to the game board, where it's rectified on the game board to make +22 and -22V DC, which are then regulated down to the +15 and -15V DC that the video section of the game board uses.

The easiest thing would be to just get a proper Asteroids harness. But you can effectively make the same thing (but shorter, for a bench) manually.

The connections are all the same, and are in the wiring diagram in the schematics (which are on arcarc.xmission.com, look under the Atari/Kee folder).
