Does anyone have ball park cabinet size for a Atari 720? HxWxL

I need to squeeze the 720 into a Jeep Grand Cherokee and need to ensure whether I need to drag the trailer with me.

I don't know off hand, but I don't think I'd even try that. If it's like most SUVs, where, at some point you have to lift and push (not completely flat like a truck bed), then you're screwed because of the sheer weight. That particle board cabinet combined with the 25" is a killer.

It will not fit with door closed I can assure you that much. My pickup truck has a 5 1/2 foot bed and it was a good foot longer than that resting on the cargo door. Its extremely heavy as well but weight distributed pretty well between heavy base and heavy monitor.

Judging by the dimensions I am looking at for (assuming) a 2008 Grand Cherokee with the rear seats removed, I'd recommend taking the trailer. It seems the only way it will pass thru the rear door will be on it's side, taking a chance of scrapping the precious vinyl. Then, it won't be able to fit in completely with door closed. See pic.

Try not to blow out your o-ring whilst loading this thing. Its beastly.

That is one of the main reasons I have not moved mine anywhere yet. It just doesn't lay down, There is no real flat surface to lay it on properly on that game no matter how you go about it.

I'd recommend the trailer. Even if it fits it isn't worth the hassle due to the weight and the damage it will incur from sliding it on its side.

If your picking it up from FL make sure you take something to wrap it with.

Every time I go down there the weather is supposed to be sunny and I get caught
in a down pour.

It's not in FL and yes it's Kjoels. I think I'll be fine thanks for the insight if not for the challenge would any of us do this?

Half the fun is the hunt.

I just moved my 720. You can put it on its side if you have a large enough flat space. The base and the top are the same width so it sits nicely on its side.

While the SS comes apart the monitor is top heavy and make the cabinet want to do a face plant the whole time your moving it. plus the cab only fits through really big openings I have to remove the handle from my slider to get it in almost have to pull the door off.
