Atari 2600 - FOUND!!!

Use to love Haunted House, Adventure, Yars revenge, and Raiders fo the lost ark!!!

I never got to play Haunted House, although I wanted too.
I did love to play Adventure. If I remember right, it was super easy to beat if you followed a pattern.
Raiders was a REALLY fun game!

I still have all mine from when I was a kid. I remember when these carts were $40 each back in the 80's. I think one of the most fun 2600 games was Stampede. Every played that one? The goal was to lasso the black cows but not the white ones...or vice versa.
Most of my childhood was spent in front of a tv playing atari 2600.

I had Stampede, or probably still have the cart somewhere! I remember getting it at Circus World in the mall. I really enjoyed it.

I have no idea what value there would be in these. I am curious though. I wish I would have bought Halloween or Texas Chainsaw Massacre as a kid. But I don't remember ever seeing them. I know they are pretty rare. A cousin of mine had a lot of games. I remember he had Frankenstein which was really rare and fun!

I guess I kept these and other stuff because I remember my father always talking about his old baseball card collection that his mom threw out and how he had so many first run cards. He was so bummed out because he knew he had valuable stuff now.

If anyone wants a better pic of something let me know.

most brand new still sealed in box 2600 games only bring in $6-12.

havent seen the ghostbusters or big bird games before, but other than those items i would say its worth about 90-100 bucks altogether.

I never owned ET although I did play it a lot. I remember superman and solaris was fun also! Just fun to see them with the original boxes and store stickers.

I have an ET cart. Its positively craptastic! I have a dozen or so games. My console is the more common black model with the 4 front switches and the difficulty switches by the joystick ports. I got it for Christmas back in '82. Without looking, I think I have Pac-Man, Asteroids, Space Attack, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Ms. Pac-Man, ET, Yars Revenge and Space Invaders. There are a couple more but I don't break out the 2600 very often.

I can remember getting Ms. Pac-Man for my birthday. The box had been opened. When I said something, my parents claimed that they had to "test" it the night before to make sure the cartridge worked correctly. It did and still does, BTW.

I still play mine every once in while. I'd love to get a heavy sixer.

Raiders was such a pivitol game for me. Nobody else seemed to get it but I put work into that game as a kid and actually figured it out. It was the first game like that I had played. Most people dissed it because they could never figure it out!

River raid is also super bad ass.
