At what point is a collection an "arcade?"

It's not an Arcade unless 25% of the games don't work, and the buttons and Joysticks stick on another 10%. ;)

Well, based on the descriptions flying around like pies in a food fight, I think I finally have turned my game room into an arcade. Thanks to KatanaJoe and his son, we (and I mean mostly them) got 8 games up the killer stairs and once I finally get the last of the furniture cleaned up and power sorted out, I'll post pictures. But it does finally look like an arcade up in the basement (in Texas, basements are usually found on the second floor). I have 9 video games, 1 pinball machine, 4 pachinko machines, 2 pachislots and an electronic dartboard. The larger games (Gauntlet DL, SmashTV, The Simpsons, etc.) will just have to stay downstairs because I want the upstairs to stay upstairs.

Resurrecting an old thread -- had to get a comment in...

I have two cabs and one cocktail which I'm guessing puts me in "Corner Store with Games" category. And according to VAPS, 50% of us are running corner stores. :D

Okay, cocktails were usually in restaurant/coffee shop type settings, so maybe I'm a restaurant with a smoke shop at the front...

I had my collection down to around 23 games not too long ago. I did a count the other day and it was 28. Im not sure where they come from, I think they are multiplying on their own down here.
