Welp... it was bound to happen... it appears the ole Asteroids is sold. I've had it listed at $375 for at least 2 months. I've had at least a half dozen offers of $300 but I wasn't going to budge. $375 is a good price and I don't need it "gone" so that's what it was going to take to take it off my hands.

I got a call this morning... Dan... a guy who'd been emailing me asking me questions about the Asteroids for the last week decided he's going to take it. BUT...only if I could deliver it. After looking up on Mapquest it seems Dan is only 6 miles away.

Screw it... sold.

I drop it off tonight after work.

Bye bye Asteroids... my first vector monitor game...

Congrats Frizz. I was going to ask what's going in its place but I see it was already relegated to the "other" side of the garage. What did take its place in the gameroom?

There's usually only two emotional responses felt when getting rid of a game. It's either "thank-god-that-thing-is-gone" or a sense of loss/closure. I'm guessing the latter in your case.

Spy Hunter... but only because some douchebag said he was going to come by to pick it up so I moved it over to the larger garage and got her prepped for transport. Of course that guy never showed and completely disappeared off the face of the earth.

Asteroids was my must have vector... but it was easy for me to sell it. I surprised myself and really didn't play it all that much.

I agree... Asteroids Deluxe is all you need.

Yes... AD is superior... but I sure can't wait for the elusive multikit to come out.
