When I turn on my Asteroids game the screen is blank. No game sounds when I coin it up.
Player 1, and 2 buttons are lit up, and The Spot Killer Led is lit. When this first happened I turned it off ,and on, and it worked for a while. A few weeks later it started resetting, and then went back to what it's doing now. I've tried 2 different boards, and have done A cap kit on the monitor. I checked all of the components in the the monitor. I also checked the fuses in both the A/C Power Supply ,and in the Monitor. I rebuilt the Audio Regulator board as well. Big Blue has been replaced, and when I measure the voltage on the board it's at 5.134. I also installed A new edge connector, and new pins thinking I had poor contact to the Main CPU. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing the game not to work?

Sounds like a watchdog issue on the board. Its possible one of the roms may be dirty or failing, or the board has some other problem. Easiest thing to try is to pull each rom, clean up the legs and reseat.

Its a problem with the board - there's this thing called a watchdog circuit that makes sure the board is running ok, if its not, it tries to reset itself. When there's a problem, it sits there resetting itself, sometimes so fast you can't tell, it just looks dead.

If you're not familiar with roms or anything like that you may want to see if there's someone on here in your area that can help you out.
