Prospective buyer never came to get Asteroids, so it is up for sale again. It has to be picked up by Saturday afternoon. If no interest in the machine as a whole, I will part it out.

The game played blind when I got it about a year ago. It sat for awhile before I installed a new "Big Blue" and new fuses on the power supply, but now I get nothing. Game is complete except for the control panel and the cardboard bezel.

$200 and it's yours.

Yes, I tried selling here and on Craigslist. Was offered a hundred bucks on CL and received no response on here at $250. Would list on the Bay, but for whatever reason they restricted my seller account for low ratings, even though I have 100% positive feedback. They don't even give you any specifics to see what, if anything, you did wrong. I think some jackasses are giving me good reviews and then being pricks by scoring me all low #s. That's another argument though.

I scrubbed the hell out of this game as it was not like this when I bought it. Didn't want to have to sell it as I loved Asteroids growing up, but I am between jobs and will be leaving for the Army in a few months.

It looks really good, I just picked up an Asteroids Friday that was playing blind. Needed some resoldering on the monitor chassis and it works great. What did you use to clean the monitor parts so nice?

Scrubbed it in soapy water to get rid of the grease and grime then used a wire brush drill bit.

Asteroid Parts

That plexiglass, any scratches?
Also looking for the console, the one i just bought is a little wavy
Thanks
