I'm trying to wire in a volume control pot, and a test switch into my Asteroids, but I'm not sure exactly how. When checking the manual, on figure 19, the main harness and component assembly diagram, there are a bunch of abbreviations, and I'm not sure what they mean. Does anyone know?

Thanks.

It should show the test switch and volume pot pretty clearly - the little letter abbreviations you see are the colors of the wiring. That said - take it with a grain of salt, as white wiring kinda ages after 31 years. Since I just looked at it recently I can tell you the test switch I believe are the wires that look black and white, not sure on the other two although I can get you a pic tomorrow if you want.

BK - black wire
W - white wire
NC - normally closed switch position
NO - normally open switch position
BN - brown wire
W/BN - White wire with brown striping

BK - black wire

NCOBIHU - Normally cut off by ignorant home user

Cool.

I figured wire color, but the nc and no were throwing me off (still learning).

Thanks everyone!
