Anyone here watch "Community"? Last week's episode had the cast going to a bar for a birthday celebration. Abed sees a game and correctly identifies it as Asteroids and then goes to play it! They showed him playing and the other guy in the pic comes up and starts talking about "The Last Starfighter". LOL, I don't know why the heck I get such a kick out of seeing old arcade games on TV!

Probably the same reason why I get all psyched up to see the Asteroids UR, Tempest cabaret, and Asteroids Deluxe UR in "Night of the Comet" every time I watch it (which for the record, it was viewed again last night LOL)

It had an aftermarket CPO applied. My wife just rolled her eyes when I immediately spotted that and mentioned it.

I get a kick out of seeing current TV with old classic arcades in them too.

Does the iCarly episode where they use a Asteroids cab as the basis for the fictional Pak-Rat game count?

/I have kids. Lay off.

In the movie Midnight Madness at the end there is multiple scenes in a great pinball arcade where Pee-Wee Herman is the proprietor, Many great games are shown including Atari Football x2 (There is a scene where they are pushed together which allows great cover for the fight but not practical for playing:) an Atari F1, a (Bad Ass) Gunslinger and......??? What else can you find?

I jst watched strange brew - Rick Moranis and the 'other guy' and realized 4% of the movie takes place in a breakroom at the brewery with a slew of games.

There were several video and pinball machines in a scene from The Walking Dead this week on AMC. They were in what was supposed to be the game room of the abandoned Center For Disease Control in Atlanta. You can see them in several scenes. I didn't get a good enough look at any of them to ID, though.

Community is awesome, by the way. Abed is hilarious.

Namco Combo Galaga/Ms.Pac, World Poker Tour Pin, and another pin I couldn't make out.

/How in the heck does DirectTV with the HD package NOT carry AMC in HD? It's an outrage!!

Way back when I was in high school, my teacher brought in the movie "Soilent Green" to watch in class and discuss. I seem to remember the rich family at the beginning of the movie having a game which may have been Asteroids. I'm sure someone here knows the answer though!

Computer Space... the movie came out way before Asteroids.

OMG... Dave Thomas didn't come rolling out of your brain as easily as Rick Moranis?!?!?!?!

He even had the same name as the Wendy's dude!

Did you all see the Missile Command "Chuck" episode (season 2 episode 5, "Chuck Versus Tom Sawyer")? The whole plot of that episode centered around Missile Command.
