What would cause Asteroids to be somewhat "jerky". What I mean is that the asteroids, the ships turning, everything seems to have a very SLIGHT jerkiness to it whereas my other Asteroids is silky smoothing...both asteroid movement and ship movement.

The jerkiness is so minimal that unless I'd had another Asteroids next to it and been playing it for a while, I wouldn't likely have noticed the jerkiness.

Is that a PCB issue or a monitor chassis issue?

Also, the lines of this 2nd Asteroids seem a hair "thicker"... is there an adjustment for that? Almost as if it was out of focus a hair...

mine would jerk for a few seconds, and then go away. i replaced the twin large caps and it went away so far. bob has them.
i also reflowed a bunch of solder joints too so im not sure what the fix was.

Mine jerks a little too. I don't know if its the same issue you have. I've tried to replace the big twin caps on the monitor deflection board and it still jerks a little.

On mine, sometimes the asteroids will just just a little bit. I only notice because most of the time they move very smoothly but sometimes they jerk for a split second. I don't notice the ship jerking though.
