I've had Asteroids boards on my shelf for 20+ years that worked when pulled. Yesterday I bought an Asteroids that had everything minus a boardset (thanks dj_dns). The monitor has issues in it and doesn't work and the boardset makes no noise and the volcano buttons just blink at me. Pending a voltage check, I'd like to send my boardset out for repair so I can have 1 side of the game that works so I can fix the monitor. Any suggestions on who to send the board to? Or any suggestions on what to check? Again, I have no good monitor so I'd like to get one half working so that I can get the other half working.
P.S. Does the boardset require any of the monitor hardware to be there to boot? Currently I have 2 blown fuses on the chassis for the monitor and was curious if that could impede the functionality of the boardset.
