I just picked up an Asteroids Deluxe... this is my second. My first I sold to a fellow KLOVian and have since regretted selling her. This one is in pretty damn good condition. The seller claims it's sat for 4 years... prior to that he said it was in his garage "for years". I dunno what to think being he (A) thought the game was Asteroids... didn't know anything about "Deluxe" and (B) He had no clue about the see-thru half-silvered mirror or the Asteroid field scene behind it. Who knows...
What I do know is that it has a total of 22,000 and change ticks ... 11,000 per coin slot. I do know it works (except the black light)... and I do know that I pulled $8.50 in quarters out of her as well as about $5.00 "worth" of tokens. I also know that the inside was pretty damn clean.
I also know it has this writing on the bottom. I am not sure what it means, but it's there. Also, unfortunately, there is no serial tag on the back of the machine. Any way to determine the serial number inside (PS, PCB, etc?).
