Asteroids Deluxe - G05-805 Missing parts of the image

Im not sure if this is a pcb or monitor issue, but figured id try here first.

This is the cocktail version of Asteroids Deluxe w/ the G05-805 Elctrohome monitor.

The screen takes awhile to warm up, thats expected. After about 30 minutes, I can see the intro sequence of a ship flying through shooting its lasers. Thats it, nothing else shows up. When I start a game, I can see the ship dimmly in the center, but the laser shots show up nice and bright, as does my shield. The asteroids dont show up at all. The enemy ships show up nice and bright as well.

I switched it over to the test pattern, and it only takes up about 2/3 of the screen, centered. The pattern is very dim, and barely visible unless I turn out the lights in the room.

Any ideas? Am I looking at PCB or Monitor? Any input is appreciated. I may just look for a new tube as well, since the burn on this guy is pretty heavy.

monitor

Turn up the brightness a little and see if the asteroids appear. They call these monitors Quadrascan because there is 4 different sections of the screen. Sounds like you are loosing one corner of the image. If during game play you cannot hear the bullets hitting the now invisible asteroids, you might have a board and monitor issue,

Alright, so way back when I installed the cap kit and transistors. Powered the monitor up, and F100 blew right away. I tried a new fuse, and nothing, no power. From there, I slid the Asteroids into the corner and didnt touch it for a long time.

That gets us to today! I rolled it back out and started following F100. Pin 7 incoming, Through F100, to the BR, to F102. F102 is good. Whip out my Trusty Fluke (The one thing you cant count on being repeatable is a fluke, so whyd they name it that!!!???) and the br tests bad! Now my question is, while I try to find and order a replacement, any guesses what may have blown the BR? The diode after F102 tests good, and it goes right to a pin header from there.
