Asteroids Cocktail - No display right side of monitor

An Asteroids Cocktail I just picked up recently is starting to have some issues. When I got it home it did not power up. I unplugged the main board and pushed the connector back on. The game worked fine that evening. Apparently the next morning one of my sons powered it on and the right side of the screen had no display with bright lines going vertically down some of the center of the screen. Left side was fine. He said he played one game that way and then when the next game started it worked fine. I came home and powered it on and it played fine. Powered it on a few times in the afternoon off and on and it was fine. Then in the evening it powered up with the right side display issue again. That is when I found out it had done it earlier in the morning once from my son. I've tried resetting the edge connector but same thing. Now it always powers up this way.

Check for Cold Solder joints on the header where the connector plugs in.

The header is built into the main board. There is no solder connections on it. When I pulled it this time and reconnected the half screen came up in test mode but nothing in game mode. I took the board out and put a thin coat of solder on all the pins on both sides of the board. The connector is harder to push onto the board now and it went back to half screen in both game mode and test mode. Since I posted this issue I have not seen it come back on with full screen working.

Took the monitor out and removed the deflector board. Did not have a magnifier handy to inspect closer but all connector solder points appeared OK. Reflowed all the small connector points and added a little solder here and there. Did not reflow the pins to the large connector that runs from the game PCB. Also reflowed the pins on the two ceramic resistors. They did look suspect and very low on solder. Reinstalled everything and it came on full screen. Also, it appears to be brighter than before.

Took the buttons out and cleaned them while I had it apart. They were filthy. Noticed the coin bulb was burned out. It is not a bulb type I have handy and can't read the numbers other than 5V. Want to find out what it is and replace.

When I get home, I will check mine and see if I can read it. (If the question hasn't been answered by then...)

I found in another thread it is a # 40 or # 46 and that it is actually 6.5 V. I found a magnifier and my bulb does say 6.5V and not 5V. It is a screw type bulb. They did not have one at the local auto parts store or hardware store. Looks like I'll have to order some online. Found a # 40 is about 1 watt and a # 46 is 1.6. My bulb says .15 amps so I assume I need # 40. Hope it is bright enough.
