Anyone done this already? I searched around and didn't find anything commented source code for the Asteroids CPU code. I'm contemplating some ROM mods and I'm looking for a starting point out there if there is one already.

What might be the mods out of curiosity?
Might be easier to use a double-throw relay to reverse the polarity of the vertical yoke![]()
I need to check if anyone has done this already (haven't found it yet with the little bit of searching I've done so far), but I want to do the cocktail player 2 flip all the time so that when I put the Asteroids Board in my Asteroids Deluxe, I don't have to do anything with the monitor wiring. Know if anyone has done this already?

That won't work.
Cocktail flip flips both axes, and you only want to flip one. There's no way (without hacking) to get asteroids to only flip one axis.
What you want to do is rewire your deluxe for cabaret mode (no mirror) and swap the vertical yoke wires on the monitor. Should just be a matter of moving 1 pin on the harness.
