Hi from Italy, I have a problem with my Asteroids Deluxe. As you can see in the picture, the image can only be seen in the lower right corner. The monitor is an Electrohome G05 with a well Gardner board v2000 deflection. The PCB works great, I tested it separately.
Thanks for all the help
Antonio

I thought that might be the case.

I don't think you can run a v2000 deflection board in a G05-802 monitor. They are not normally interchangeable, as far as I'm aware. (I have never tried it, and have not seen it done, anyway.)

I think you're ok leaving it here. No need to start another thread. If a mod moves it, they move it, but it's ok here.

(I'm going to reply to it either way, lol.)

Sorry for the problem :-(

there is no problem and no need for an apology. My suggestion came purely from the standpoint of maximizing your efforts to fix the game. after reading through it seems as its not going to require additional help as its a part swap, but at least it will get the attention it deserves if there is ongoing issues.
Thanks
Blake

I have read the manual and at page 17 write the deflection v2000 is possible to change

Where do you see that indicated, on p17 or anywhere else of the B&W monitor FAQ?

The two monitors are interchangeable... meaning that if you have a game that came with a v2000, you can take that monitor out and put a G05-802 in the game and it will work. And a number of the individual parts are similar between the two monitors, but as far as I know you can't mix and match the deflection board of one with the HV unit of the other. If that's truly the setup you have, I'd start with that as the root of your problem, and swap in the correct G05-802 deflection board.
