Anyone know AsterBlaster on the forum?
I bought a deflection pcb from him and have not had communication in 10 day.
Thanks,
David

I bought a Vector monitor for $150 from him three weeks ago, he thanked me for my purchase, and that is the last I have heard.

He has not confirmed postage, I have checked and it has not arrived at the address I asked him to post to and he has not answered my PM question about it 3 or four days later.

Looks like I'm going to have to put in an Item not received claim with paypal :(

I also bought a vector monitor 19V2000 from him three weeks ago and have not heard a single thing.

How long do we have to make a paypal claim??
I've not had to do one before.

Yea, I know him. I donated $53 to his charity (I'm A Cock Sucking Thief Fund). I really helped him out with his do-nothing lifestyle. I hear he changed his user name to Dick Breath.
I have filed a complaint with PayPal. Sorry he got you too.

Well this doesn't sound good. Asterblaster, please respond to our pm's and this thread as well.

45 days if I remember right. You may want to go ahead and file anyway. You can always cancel it if your items ever show up.

I paid $160 through paypal 3 weeks ago for the vector monitor.
When paypal emailed me to coinfirm

Got this email

You sent a payment for $160.00 USD to Christina Braidwood.

As suggested, I just put in my paypal claim.
Feel bad about it but this is scaring the shit out of me.

Ah, great. I gave him the benefit of the doubt after his initial issue with Mr. Do. And he did explain that he sent my box but it came back mangled while he was on vacation.

So I gave it another two weeks knowing I could file a dispute within 45 days.

Its been a total of five weeks now. It'd be a shame, I would certainly rather have the box than have my money back.

Oh bugger this just gets worse, now I don't have my monitor that I was excited about and it seems I have no chance of getting my money back.

I just went to make a claim and got this message "We're sorry, but this transaction cannot be disputed because it is not a purchase of goods or services. Please contact the recipient directly."

I was too trusting, sent the money as a gift so he could avoid the PayPal fees, I had looked him up on the forum and he seemed legit, lesson learned :(

I'm still holding onto a small hope that something has happened and he could come through with the goods. (although that hope is fading fast)

I asked many questions before the sale and he displayed a good knowledge of vector monitors. I also asked about packing and he said he would wrap it in a garbage bag in a box and fill the gaps with expending foam as that had been good for him before.

He ticked all the boxes, that is why I trusted.

I didn't think anyone would go to that much trouble to rip for $150 and I still think it would be strange ???????

Agreed, I am still expecting my box to arrive this week.

I typically pay the paypal fees on top of what the seller asks using the retro paypal calculator for anyone I have not dealt with or does not have an established rep. That way everyone is happy.

Bought a Golden Tee Green board from him nearly 2month ago, and haven't seen a single shadow of it. Have made a paypal dispute some days ago :(

I also purchased from him 4 weeks ago. He didn't ship, and I sent him questions once a week about it, but was honest that he hadn't shipped yet.

I got a PM a week ago that the item shipped and it arrived late last week. Hopefully you guys will get your packages.

That's good news. I also got a PM from him about a week ago that the item would ship the next day and that he would send me tracking ASAP, but no word since.

Here's to hoping this was just a situation where "life-stuff" got in the way of a good person and everyone gets their stuff.

Agreed. I still have hopes for my stuff to be sitting on the front stoop when I get home. That being said, it is prudent for me to file a dispute and then cancel it if the box arrives (for me, it's been almost 45 days).

As I said in my PM to him last week, I would rather have my box than the money, that it isn't personal to me at all and that I would make it right with him if I had filed a dispute and then my box arrived.
