I normally don't leave feedback on deals made here and don't care if the person leaves me feedback. It's not a big deal to me, as I feel if I want to buy something what seller is going to refuse to sell if I meet their price? And if I want to sell, if the buyer doesn't want to deal with me, any amount of feedback isn't going to change that, so I don't sweat it. And buyers and sellers I've dealt with must generally feel the same way as with at least a few hundred deals here, I've got a total of 8 feedbacks as of today.

I make a deal with someone here a few weeks ago and after the deal, I get an email from the guy asking for a KLOV feedback positive, so that he can "build up his feedback". No big deal, I oblige. I just happened to check my profile for an unrelated item this morning and I see that he never left feedback.

Again, I don't care, I just find it a little odd as he was very happy and thankful with our deal, but went out of his way to send me an additional email asking for feedback. People are quirky I guess. I know I am.

Hate to admit it but I really don't know how to leave feedback here. I guess I've done it in response to someone giving feedback but have no clue how to initiate it. A scenario like mine could have something to do with it. Or maybe the person just forgot.

You inspired my signature :)

"Hi, I'm George, I'm unemployed and I live with my parents."

I agree, the feedback link is hard to find.
I appreciate when feedback is left for me but I dont usually leave feedback. Really, we all know everybody here and we certainly know who NOT to deal with :)
I already spend hours a week flushing pm's out as I close deals and it gets hard to keep track of it all.

When I first started here, I always gave feedback so that I would get it in return to build up my rep. Lately though I have been pretty lazy with it. And like Riptor said the regulars here pretty much know who not to deal with.

I do agree with Joe that if you request positive feedback it implies that you will reciprocate. I leave feedback for all transactions. The only bothersome thing is if I make a transaction here and no pm or feedback to let me know that the item was received and the buyer or trader is happy. I guess as in Riptor's case and for others as well, no news is good news as they manage a lot of transactions.

I have been slipping on leaving FB lately myself. As an example I got a Pac underlay from Joe a week or two ago and keep forgetting to leave feedback.

Anyways, thank you Joe and I'll leave you some feedback soon. :)

Bah!

I leave it after I receive it... If you want feedback then give it to me and I'll be happy to reciprocate.

While I agree with everything you guys have stated I believe it is important for us newbies to establish ourselves so you "old timers" will be willing to deal with us. The feedback tool is hard to find but once you figure it out it is not that bad. Personally I feel that it is the last step in completing a transaction.

I just research someone before doing a deal worth anything with them, you can't rely on a forum feedback system. Based on the feedback system Hard Arcade has perfect feedback but a touch of research will tell you otherwise.
