Arvada, Colorado: Free arcade/pinball games

Wow, somebody is going to be getting a sweet deal there!

Yeah no joke. They should at least try and get like $100 a pop or something, but whatever. Hopefully a klover (other than exidy; he has enough games) gets these.

I would? I dont think so.. Id be interested in the Marble Madness and dk jr... The rest I would flip (like you tried to do with the stuff you bought :) ). I dont see the problem with me getting the games... I think ive worked hard and have spent a lot of time and money to get my collection. Either way, I bet they are long gone.

Wasnt doggin on ya! Any interest in a star trek voyager? ;)

Shit I saved that stuff from that idiot. Sittin in his dirt garage. The 5 tempest boards sold for more than I paid for the whole lot, and the rest of the stuff I didnt want is gone.

That's sad really. Some dude had to bail on his games because of foreclosure or other financial hardship. Sure, someone's getting a deal, but someone is also eating a big crap sandwich because of it.

Man I wish it was me :)

I just talked with Dan Gutchess and he stated he knows a guy that is getting them! Man what a deal. I love that pinball game. Cool backgalss.

What all was there in the lot? Just curious as it was deleted by the time I saw this thread.

6 total machines I believe, from what I remember it was DK Jr, Pac-man, Marble Madness, and Joker pinball. I don't remember the other two (and I'm not positive about Pac-man).

Pole Position and Operation Wolf were the other two. Pac-Man WAS one of the machines

Here was the actual ad:

Foreclosed house - 6 coin operated arcade games left in basement, free to anyone who is willing to haul them away. Must bring them up basement stairs, and must take all games at once, this weekend. Joker pinball, Pac man, Pole Position, Donkey Kong junior, Marble Madness and Operation WOlf. No electricity in house, so no idea of they work or not.

awww

Too bad I started searching for cabs literally 4 days after that was listed. That's less than half an hour away from me. I would have gladly picked them up.

I have 2 cabs I need to get rid of. One is an orange Nintendo DK Jr style, the was probably a Centipede once upon a time. The Centipede is pretty banged up and stripped down. The Nintendo is solid, has the coin door and brackets, but not much else.

I am located in SW Longmont, Colorado, so let me know if anyone wants them, as I will put them up on CraigsList this weekend.
