So I am in the middle of vectorizing a scan I made of my busted ass Playchoice CP.
I have a pretty decent font collection but I am coming up empty on matching the font used for the small buttons. To me this is getting warmer, but still not acceptable.

anybody wanna help for a free homemade cpo once the project is done?

Tell ya what you do. Scan the original in at 600 dpi. Zoom in to a real close up of it and then send that through vectormagic.com to get a vector of the word.

Just my 2 cents.

I actually have done that before on other projects. scanning in and working at 600dpi takes so damn long though. it is always an option

if you have just thoose 4 (R E S T) letters to match, I will say hand tracing will be the option

tracing the letters will be less time consumng than trying to browse tons of fonts, find one close enough and then tweak it to match.

It is the same typeface used in the marquee and the font has rough edges just like the marquee. I can't tell if the typeface on the CPO labels are smooth or rough from your image, so you might have to smooth the edges.

I found the font in less than five minutes by going here. You upload a sample image of the typeface in question, and the site automatically finds a matching font. The more letters you can include the better, but it found Pendy Script D as the first choice using only the four characters from your sample.
