Art Of Atari on sale for only $20!

I was at Barnes and Noble last week and they were selling it for $40. They wouldn't match the Amazon price. How do they stay in business??!

Maybe they know what they need to sell something to cover their margin/overhead? Some just want to walk in a store and buy something and not wait for delivery?

Is this guy like the definitive authority on the 80s now? The book wasn't even that good.

I liked the book, but in it he talks about peeling sideart on a PacMan and that really bothered me.

The reading is pretty good early on in the book with some of the office day-to-day magic and short stories of working at that part of Atari.

But yeah there's some obvious stupid stuff in it too. They don't focus enough on the early arcade game art as much as I'd like.

I pre-ordered the limited edition with the orange sleeve (it looks like a giant 2600 cartridge) hard cover one. Glad I did, at $20 this is a pretty good buy & read overall, IMO.
