OK, so I picked up 2 machines with intention to make at least 1 work. Determined the one with the best cab, circuits, monitor, etc.

OK, to the point. The one I picked to use the monitor out of has a 25" monitor with a K7000 series board. Ordered the cap kit from Bob Roberts a few minutes ago as it was working somewhat.
When I took the monitor out from the cabinet I am going to use, it is a 27" Hanterex setup (not working at all and haven't checked it since I wasn't going to use it at this time).
I checked KLOV for monitor size that should be in it so I could get it restored closest to original as possible and they state a 19". AARRGGG!
Were there multiple size cabs with different size monitors? Either chassis seems to fit OK.
My cabinet measures 28 1/2" outside width.
Any idea what monitor size should be in there?
Will 2 inches make that much difference in game play effect that I should now consider working on the 27" or just go with the 25" as planned?

So Confused, although not all that uncommon at times.

Thanks for the input.
Seems there is no standard anymore on this one that really matters.
I will just go with the original plan of using the 25" and consider updating to the 27" if I get it fixed later on.
I do plan on keeping it for quite some time unless the friends I hang around with (or hang around with me, not sure which one it is) just don't play it. Then it is just taking up space and will have to go.
We'll see.

i love the game...play it all the time...teckkev is looking for the boards for one of these...if you want to part with the extra one, let him know

i'm setup to trade for a non-fuction one. Just need to make space and drive out to get it.
The link to the manual is very useful. Thanks.

Not looking to let any parts go at this time. Still working on finalizing restoration on the first one, then see what I'm left with on the parts unit. I might even be able to get the parts machine up and running if I put enough time into it, but haven't decided either way at this point.
