I called to verify the delivery of my 4 player Demolition Derby for friday...and when they read back the address they had input the wrong area code... AND wrong address!! Fortunately I called to check on it and got it corrected before it went out on the wrong truck to the wrong address in the wrong town! FREAKIN IDIOTS!! Now I'm stuck waiting until NEXT week! SOB.. this pisses me off!!

That sucks. And what a great game to be waiting for.

At least it was just temporarily lost and not smashed to bits...

See..its always a fear of mine..the longer a game is in transit..the higher the chance something could happen. I have rarely shipped a game and so far have had no problems..but this one is making me really nervous.

Think positive and Pray to the Arcade Gods for a game that is delivered :) pristine
Come on it's Christmas time and your shipping a game don't be a scrooge.

Be Merry and calm and hope for a Christmas part timer who is not pissed off that they have to pay teamster dues for 6 and a half weeks of work.

Merry Christmas KLOV and God Bless all Arcade Shipments!

Sounds familiar...

They were supposed to pick a game up for me in Alexandria MN last year around this time. After numerous phone calls with the seller and the shipper it turns out they were in Alexandria VA!

oppsy!

I feel for you. I'm awaiting an important hammer shipment today as well. Let's keep our fingers crossed on both of them!

shipped a game to a member here yesterday,
navl shows up...
the guys in the truck are half fucking naked.
get out get dressed. come to my door..
they jimmy the game thru the door...(which i know gouged the side art)
the guy paid for them to wrap and pallett
they throw a small blanket, over the top barely covered 1/4 of it...
hope they take care of it...i took video of it in case my buyer needs a claim!

I'm the one who got the game from pinkpot (great seller I might add). So far they have been equally shitty on my end to. Customer service sucks and the rates are pretty high. I would probably have been better off driving there myself and getting it. We will see what it looks like when it arrives...

That sucks and is not professional. I would definitely call customer service and demand retribution for rushing a shipping job. The palleting and shrink wrap alone is more than enough to have a case, especially if you paid for it.

I'll chime in here on NAVL, I just received my Egret II Candy Cabinet from them.

To begin, Kathy called me to schedule an appointment. The time of delivery was suppose to be 10 AM. to 12 PM and Kathy informed me I would get a call before he arrives. So I am waiting for the call, and it never comes. It is now 11:35 AM and I see a person in the back alleyway of my house with a VAN.

Needless to say I didn't get a call.

On the positive side, the guy was friendly as hell. We rolled it to the front of my porch and carried it up two steps. He asked do you want to take it in? I replied nah I have to take the control panel off. The thing arrived how it came

I asked if he ever delivered around here and he said yeah, quite a bit of arcade stuff to some person in my town.

I think the bottom line is it really depends who delivers it.
