Arpicade Help Thread

Sorry, didn't see this until now....

For Pi3 use MAME 0.078 (*AKA MAME 2003 plus) for NBAJam, NBA Jam TE, NBA Hangtime and Maximum Hangtime.
For Pi4 use MAME 0.172.

If the startup rom scanner has been disabled scan the roms from the service menu so they show up.
Thanks man, I'll give it a shot!

Had no idea that RaspberryJamma and Arpicade were Pi4 friendly.
Time to go shopping!

Believe the closest non-merged set I already have is 0.197 though.

has anyone have sound issues with the Vs. games? if so did you get them fixed
Thanks
I just put together a list for mine and running it with a jamma adapter to the vector labs switcher. I'm running them in 106 I think, sounds good. which mame version are you running your roms in?

Looking around for a simple answer on this question, but using Nintendo NES on Arpicade. How do I map a select button. Many NES require select button, gunsmoke as example. Player 1 start is start by default, be cool to make player 2 start select for this emulator. Joy left and player 1 start doesn't open menu like mame, and I have not really worked much with console emulation

if you find out please post it I also made an nes version thanks Bob
It looks like player 1 button 3 is mapped for select on Nestopia. Late reply. Been working a lot lately, but I will test on the holiday, and see if I can some how make it work so that I don't have to alter my Vs Control panel. I'm running an Arpicade in my Nintendo Vs Gonnes with the vector Labs switcher and jamma adapter. I had to upgrade my PS and build a harness for direct to switcher. So far good progress. But that set me back abit. Running all Vs games in my cabinet plus NES games.. the vector labs switcher has a header for Vs zapper and NES Zapper. That's part comes next, but I need to figure out the select button first. I'll let you know E1F20B18-D612-4DCB-9A1E-45AF19A561D7.jpeg

thank you
So it is infact that the the NES/Nestopia is mapped for player 1 button 3. I tested it yesterday. I've completed this part. Wait to hear back from vector labs if it's possible that the Vs/Happ light gun header will support the Apricade and if so will set up all Vs And NES light gun games
