Top of the screen is gone. No video. Transistors that should be looked at and replaced are according to the manual:
Q107: 2N3906 - plentifully found
Q109: 2N5322 - obsoleted in 1996 with no cross reference
Q111: 2N5876 - doesn't even come up on Mouser/Digikey/Unicorn/MCM searches.

I'm sure that 2N5876 is not a typo as there's a 2N5878 at Q110 and Q210, so if it was a mistake it was made twice. Does anyone know a source for these 2 transistors?

holy smokes - that was fast. Thank you. You must have a very nice cross reference list. That's the second time I've gotten bum scoop from Digikey. Placed the order for all 3 transistors from Mouser. The nte219 is a $7 transistor. Guess I'm just glad they're still around. Thanks again, I managed to update the order before it got processed fully so it all comes in one box. The 2N3906 is aviailable virtually everywhere. Not sure I'll need the 5878 but I ordered 1 just to be sure.

2n5322 - nte16004
2n5876 - nte219
2n5878 - nte284

Thanks for that link and taking the time to look that up for me. Saved the day in getting parts in for this project. Digikey had me all but convinced that the 2N5322 and 2N5876 were gone forever.

Thanks for the links I've added them to my favorites. Interesting that every shot so far of the 5876 being a chassis transistor. This mounts on the pcb.
I've got other issues cropping up now the more I handle the cabinet. Now the attract mode isn't running and it no longer coins up. I was hoping to get the electronics all going before I tear her down for cabinet repair. The Red LED flutters a bit on the board when the game is powered up. I pulled all the plexi out for cleaning and started stripping her down and bead blasting the metal parts. But that's for another forum. :)
