Armi's Lighted buttons

i've got a whole set of them here - the 3 color ones, and the 64 channel pac-led64 driver for my homebuilt mame countertop, i've just not got around to actually installing them yet.
I've played with them a bit though, and they're way cool.

No doubt I will receive no love from people here, but meh...

Just so people can see the use that Armi's character LED buttons can have on certain games...

Also, keep in mind you can request to have the LED buttons with certain color lenses over the button head. If I recall I had the Galaga buttons with a blue lens and the Ms.Pac with the clear lenses. Both used standard white LEDs. Tough to tell on the picture, but the fire buttons were given just the slightest change of blue color to help isolate their function from the start buttons.

Here is a long shot of a gift I gave for a wedding present. I was a water logged Dynamo. I love the lights.

I like what you did there, how do they perform compared to a standard microswitch button. I don't think I would do that in a classic, but I have other projects that would be really nice.

You can also have Brian put in one of three different wieghted microswitches for you on the buttons to increase or decrease the amount of pressure needed to activate them. I've used his buttons before without having to use the collar, but in this case with the metal cp, I needed them. They feel much better when you don't use the collar.

The collar is undesirable, but I love the graphics inside the button. :D

They really work well on jamma games I think. My Double Dragon and Primal Rage turned out sweet. Funny thing is, you can see I did DD first, put it next to PR and that made me need to upgrade PR to LED buttons cuz it looked so plain next to DD:

It looks like the buttons on the PR are cracking the panel!! COOL!!

You don't need the collars above the panel, unless it's a 24mm hole!
You can put all those collars below the panel on MS Pac!!!
