Purchased what appeared to be a great condition arkanoid spinner on eBay. Upon arrival, I noticed the large top gear spins somewhat crooked and the smaller top gear is missing a notch. It still appears to work, but I'd like to get it working properly.

Are there replacement plastic gears available somewhere or does someone here have a broken spinner for sale?

Thanks in advance,
Phil :)

If the large gear is crooked, does that mean the shaft is also?

And do you mean that a tooth is missing on the small gear?

Any pics?

Looks like the guy screwed it on too tight when reattaching it(the large wheel). The shaft isn't bent, but there are small fractures on the large gear where the guy over tightened it. The smaller gear has a small chip out of one of the teeth. Aside from the wheel rotating on a wobbly axis, it seems to function ok, but I'd like to get the thing working properly. Also it could probably use new bushings.
I'll try to get some pics posted soon.

I know there are lots of gear wheel assemblies out there in the hobby/robotic market...was just wondering if someone had parts, knew where to get them or maybe has a broken spinner lying around that I could use to fix this one :(

Not the greatest pic, but the cam died after snapping this one:

After disassembly, I seem to have fixed the problem with the "wobbly" wheel. The c-clamp was improperly installed causing the wheel to sit at a slant. Would still be curious if these gears are replaceable and also where one might get the metal bushing replacements.
With all the Arkanoid cabs still out there, I imagine a rebuild kit would sell well...odd that no one has come out with one yet.

Anyone have any info on replacement parts?
