Finally got around to wiring up my Arkanoid today. Everything seems to be working fine (sound and controls), except for the display. The image is scewed and scrolling. Thought it might be a sync issue, so I moved Arkanoid's Video Sync (Neg) wire from my WG19K7203's -VSYNC pin to its -H/VCOMP pin and nothing was recognizable on the screen. I moved the Video Sync (Neg) back to where I originally had it. The scrolling also speeds up and slows down. I've adjusted all of the monitor's pots except for a couple on its main board (PINCUS, TRAP, F.B. REG, W-HOLD, V-LIN, and B+ ADJ), all I had was a metal screw driver, and space was limited, I didn't want to short anything. Any ideas? Thanks.

I got that kind of garbage when my voltage was too low from the power supply. Game would boot and play fine, but video output was garbled. Have you double checked your 5v output? Maybe try bumping it up a smidge.

Also try reseating the PCB harness.

5V was at about 5.5V, I'll try playing with it. While I was wiring the game, I had the PCB harness plugged and unplugged multiple times.

Where are you at? Wyoming? Oh, sorry, my monitor extension cable won't reach that far. Damn Bob Roberts and his 10 foot stuff. ;)

You have 2 issues, and neither of them have anything to do with your power supply.

Your V Hold is off, as is your H Hold

Or, your vertical and horizontal pots are malfunctioning and/or broken. Or, you have bad transistors in the vertical and horizontal output section of the pcb. Or, you could have sync pins with cold solder joints,

or

or

or....

But seriously, I jest. Do what Dokert said. Try dialing in the vert and horiz hold.
