I am close to the end of restoring this cocktail table. I received the glass this weekend and it adds to it's beauty.

this was a stern cabinet and it had Arkanoid II in it. bought for $50 due to it having suffered water damage... I brought it home and fired it up after checking it's insides. Vertical collapse but had a spare monitor and chassis. After swapping the thing worked!!

I brushed the rust off the metal parts and repainted all the trims. Put in new lights. still need to fix the console..

Before and after pictures included. Ok, you'll notice it's a multigame set up now. But I've kept the Arkanoid board and paddles and fully intend to put them in a stand up cabinet.. My girlfriend and boys have asked that I keep this game as she loves it. So do the kids. The Revenge of Doh has great play-ability. One of my sons reached level 15, while I suck at level 2.
This baby has been a great project and sits nicely in the basement den!

Man, my girlfriend, who is trying to stay out of this whole arcade thing, asked that I keep the Arkanoid board and bring it back to life at some point. I was so disappointed when it turned out you can't really play it on a joystick... I was even thinking of adding the paddles on top of the glass, on the side. Bring the glass back and ask them to drill holes through it, as the 60 in 1 has Arkanoid I... But in the end I think it deserves a dedicated machine... Project #4...
