Long story short, I have an Atari ROTJ popping the fuse at F4 and F5 on the power brick. It also is sparking at J6 on the ARII-02.

Pull the power brick and flip it over.
The BR looks something like this...

AC..............-
Set meter to diode test
Red lead to -
Black lead to each AC
Black lead to +
Red lead to each AC
All should read .400 - .600
report what you get
This is done with NO POWER
On the >l setting-----
Red to -
AC1 -430to460
AC2 -440-470
Black to +
AC1 -445to480
AC@ - 430-450
The 15 pin connector on the power brick is J5 and it numbers as follows...

Time to test it under power
meter set to 20vdc
Black lead to pin 4 or 5
Red lead to pin 1, 2, 3
meter set to 200vac
Red lead to pin 6
Black lead to pin 7
meter set to 20vac
